Tongue Piercing Care: What to Do When Removal is Necessary
It is not advisable to remove a tongue piercing for even an hour. Tongue piercings can close very quickly, sometimes in a matter of minutes. If you must remove your tongue piercing, it is best to do so for as little time as possible, and to insert a glass retainer in its place to prevent it from closing. Be sure to clean and disinfect the piercing before and after removing the piercing to reduce the risk of infection.Teeth Cleaning - Related Articles
