Polident Instructions

Polident denture cleanser, manufactured by GlaxoSimithKline, is designed to remove denture stains and oral bacteria without using a denture toothbrush and toothpaste. According to the manufacturer, Polident does not scratch the surface of dentures but uses the process of effervescence to remove stains and bacteria. Using Polident denture cleanser daily will ensure that your dentures get the benefits claimed by the manufacturer.

  Rinse your dentures under running water to get rid of any food particles.

  Fill a glass or container with warm water that is just enough to cover your dentures.

  Drop one Polident tablet into the glass and wait for it to dissolve in the water.

  Submerge your dentures into the Polident solution for five minutes or according to the packaging directions.

  Remove the dentures from the Polident solution and rinse under running water. Store your dentures in a container filled with clean water afterward so they don't dry out.
