Resetting Your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush: A Quick Guide
All Philips Sonicare Sonic toothbrushes have a two-minute cycle to help you brush your teeth to a standard recommended by dentists. Sonic toothbrushes also are programed to beep every 30 seconds to indicate that it is time to start cleaning the next section of teeth. This system allots 30 seconds per each section of teeth: top-left half, top-right half, bottom-left half and bottom-right half. If you need to restart the two-minute cycle due to a distraction, you can do so easily.Things You'll Need

Instructions
Press the "Power" button found on the front, middle of the Sonic toothbrush to pause the two-minute cycle.
Wait 30 seconds and press the "Power" button to start the two minute cycle from the beginning.
Alternatively, press the "Power" button to interrupt the two minute cycle and place the Sonic toothbrush on its recharging stand.
Lift the toothbrush off the recharging stand after a few seconds and press the "Power" button to begin the two-minute cleaning cycle from the start.
