Can the black mold that causes cancer and other diseases appear in washing machines?
Black mold does not cause cancer or other diseases. There is no scientific evidence to support this claim. While some types of mold can cause allergic reactions and respiratory problems, no evidence suggests that any type of mold causes cancer.
Black mold in washing machines is generally harmless and can be easily removed by regularly cleaning the machine with bleach or a washing machine cleaner.
