Surrogacy & Fetal Viability: Understanding Gestational Age

It is not possible to implant a surrogate mother with a one-month-old fetus. A human fetus is not considered viable until about 24 weeks of gestation, and even then it is still at high risk of complications. Implanting a fetus that is only one month old would be highly unlikely to be successful and would put the surrogate mother at significant risk.
