Breast Pain When Squeezed: Causes & Sensitivity
Breast tissue contains nerve endings that can be sensitive to touch. When breast are squeezed, the pressure can stimulate these nerves and cause pain. Additional reason include;
1. Size of the breasts. Larger breasts may have more nerve endings, making them more sensitive to touch.
2. Menstrual cycle. During certain times of the menstrual cycle, breasts can be more tender and sensitive.
3. Underlying medical conditions. Some medical conditions, such as fibrocystic breast changes, can cause breasts to be painful.
