Red Cross CPR Training Supplies
It is important for everyone to get trained and certified in CPR and First Aid, because you never know when someone may have a cardiac or other emergency. Many Red Cross centers across the country offer training courses, complete with videos, lectures and hands-on participation.-
CPR/First Aid DVD
-
Participants watch a DVD where they learn the basics of CPR, such as the 3 C's : Check the scene, Call EMS and Care for the victim.
Posters and Charts
-
Red Cross CPR posters and charts graphically demonstrate steps for CPR, including CPR for an adult, child and infant.
Mannequins
-
During CPR training classes, participants are asked to demonstrate their techniques in rescue breathing and chest compressions on both adult-sized and infant-sized mannequins.
CPR Kits
-
Each participant receives a kit, which includes a set of latex gloves, an ant-bacterial wipe and a CPR one-way face shield.
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
-
Participants are taught how to use an AED on mannequins as if they were suffering from cardiac arrest. They listen to the AED and apply the appropriate shock, and then administer CPR.
