Air Ambulance Specialists (AAS) is a non-profit organization that provides air medical services to the Greater Baltimore area. Founded in 1993, AAS operates a fleet of two helicopters, two airplanes, and a ground critical care ambulance. The organization provides a variety of services, including emergency medical transport, critical care transport, and neonatal transport.
AAS is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) and the European Aeromedical Institute (EURAMI). The organization is also a member of the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) and the Maryland Hospital Association (MHA).
