If someone dies in an ambulance does the EMT call time of death or doctor do that after they arrive at hospital?

The EMTs on scene will call the time of death if they arrive and find no signs of life. If the patient arrives at the hospital with a pulse and is pronounced dead by a physician, the physician will call time of death.
