There is no scientific evidence to suggest that Taxim® O 200 is safe during pregnancy. It belongs to the group of medicines known as quinolones. Quinolones have been known to cross the placenta, and cause cartilage damage in the foetus.Therefore Taxim-O tablet or injection should no be used in pregnancy unless considered essential by your doctor to treat serious or potentially fata infections
