Early Pregnancy Signs: Bloating, Frequent Urination & Testing After Intercourse
There is a slight chance that you could be pregnant. Since your husband pulled out before ejaculating, the risk of pregnancy is reduced, but it is not eliminated. Sperm can travel out of the penis before ejaculation, so there is still a chance that some may have come into contact with your vagina. If you are experiencing symptoms such as bloating and increased urination, they could be early signs of pregnancy, but they could also be caused by other factors such as hormonal shifts, diet, or stress.
It may be too early for a doctor to detect a pregnancy three weeks after intercourse. Pregnancy tests work by detecting the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone produced by the placenta after implantation. However, hCG levels typically take a few weeks to build up enough to be detected by a pregnancy test. If you are concerned about being pregnant, it is best to take a home pregnancy test or consult your doctor for a blood test to confirm whether or not you are pregnant.
