Homemade Toothache Ointment
Toothache pain can range from dull to intense. While most often caused by a cavity, there are other reasons you could be having a toothache, such as gum infection, sinus problems or even a piece a food caught between your teeth. When your dentist is not available, there are homemade toothache remedies you can try to alleviate the pain. Salt and warm water always can be tried in case of emergencies.Things You'll Need
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. water
- Bay berry bark
- Vinegar
- Garlic clove
- Rock salt
- Onion
- Pinch of pepper
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Mix together 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. water. Apply the mixture to the affected tooth.
Apply a paste of bay berry bark mixed with vinegar.
Crush a small glove of garlic. Sprinkle in a dash of rock salt. Stir together. Put the ointment on the sore tooth.
Mince a small piece of onion. Place the onion onto the tooth.
Mix together a pinch of pepper and a pinch of salt. Stir in a few drops of water to form an ointment. Rub onto the sore tooth.
