Post Wisdom Teeth Removal Diet: What to Eat & When
Immediately After Surgery
- Soft, cold foods, such as ice cream, yogurt, and applesauce
- Pudding
- Jell-O
- Mashed potatoes
- Scrambled eggs
- Pasta
- Rice
The First Few Days After Surgery
- Continue to eat soft foods, but you can start to add some more variety, such as:
- Chopped meat
- Fish
- Chicken
- Vegetables
- Fruits
One Week After Surgery
- You should be able to eat most foods without any problems, but avoid foods that are hard, crunchy, or sticky, such as:
- Nuts
- Seeds
- Popcorn
- Chips
- Candy
- Hot food
- Spicy foods
Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, especially water.
