Temporary Partial Dentures: What They Are & When You Need Them
Temporary partial dentures (TPDs), also known as flippers or Maryland bridges, are removable dental appliances used to replace one or more missing teeth. They are usually made of acrylic resin and are held in place by clasps or wires that attach to the adjacent teeth. TPDs are typically used as a temporary measure while waiting for a permanent dental restoration, such as a bridge or implant, to be completed.Teeth Cleaning - Related Articles
