Deoxygenated blood flows in the superior vena cava.
The superior vena cava is one of the two large veins that carry deoxygenated blood back to the heart. It drains blood from the head, neck, arms, and chest. The other large vein that carries deoxygenated blood back to the heart is the inferior vena cava, which drains blood from the lower body.
