Circumcision Rates in Latin America: A Regional Overview

According to a study published by the Pan American Health Organization in 2016, the prevalence of circumcision in Latin America varies widely from country to country. In some countries, such as Argentina and Uruguay, the prevalence of circumcision is very low, while in others, such as Dominican Republic and Panama, it is very high. Overall, the study found that the prevalence of circumcision in Latin America is around 15%.
