Certification
- Fulfil all educational prerequisites outlined by the issuing body.
- Apply for the desired certification exam.
- Pass the certification exam with a score determined by the issuing body.
- The National Healthcareer Association requires 120 hours of training or 60 hours combined between classroom and on the job training
- The American Medical Technologists require candidates to complete 40 hours of clinical training and 120 hours of classroom instruction.
