What is a haploid female reproductive cell?
The haploid female reproductive cell is called an ovum or an egg cell. It is produced in the ovaries during the process of meiosis, which reduces the chromosome number by half. The ovum contains one set of chromosomes and is ready to be fertilized by a haploid male gamete, called a sperm, during reproduction.Testicular Cancer - Related Articles
