Why would a ducks nose bleed?

A duck's nose, also known as a bill, does not bleed. Ducks lack the same type of blood vessels found in the nasal passages of humans that can cause nosebleeds. Ducks' bills are made of keratin, a protein material also found in human fingernails and hair, and do not contain blood vessels.
