What are bug tarsal segments?
The leg of an insect is made up of a number of segments. Starting from the base they are: the coxa, trochanter, femur, tibia, and tarsus. The tarsus is made up of several smaller segments, called tarsomeres. The number of tarsomeres varies depending on the species of insect. The last tarsomere bears the claws.Bed Bug Bites - Related Articles
