Acai Berry & Antidepressants: A Safe Combination?
If you have felt emotionally down for an extended period of time, your doctor may have placed you on antidepressants. If so, supplement your medication with acai berry products, which help rev up your metabolism and increase your antioxidant intake. Luckily, the berry supplement's all-natural ingredients allow you to take both the antidepressant and the acai berry.Things You'll Need
- Antidepressant medication
- Acai berry supplement
Instructions
Continue taking your antidepressant medication just as you would normally.
Read the acai berry supplement container for any specified instructions.
Take one acai berry supplement in the morning, either with breakfast or with a glass of water; the supplement breaks apart and digests quicker with something in the stomach.
Consume a second acai berry supplement during your dinner meal. If you notice any additional improvements in energy or change in emotions, stick with the acai berry supplement. If not, discontinue use of the supplement.
