Andrx 605 (Teriparatide): Uses, Benefits & Dosage

Andrx 605 (teriparatide acetate for injection) is an anabolic agent indicated to:

* treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women with a high risk of fracture

* increase bone mass in men with primary or hypogonadal osteoporosis who are at high risk for fracture

* treat osteoporosis in men and women with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis

Andrx 605 is given as an injection once a day just under the skin (subcutaneously).
