Mucinex & Ebastine:
* Mucinex: This is the brand name for the drug guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps loosen and expel mucus from the lungs. It can help relieve nasal congestion by thinning and loosening the mucus in your nose, making it easier to breathe through your nose.
* Ebastine: This is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, itchy eyes, and congestion. It works by blocking the release of histamines, which are chemical messengers that cause allergy symptoms.
These medications may help relieve the nasal congestion and other symptoms associated with allergies. They are generally safe to use but can have some side effects such as drowsiness, headache, and stomach upset. Always follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider and consult with a healthcare professional before taking any medication.
