Artificial Respiration vs. Inhalation: Understanding the Difference

Artificial respiration and inhalation are not the same. Inhalation is the process of taking in air through the respiratory system, while artificial respiration is a procedure that helps a person breathe when they cannot do so on their own. Artificial respiration provides oxygen to the lungs, but involves providing air support either through conventional CPR or a mechanical ventilator.
