Photosynthesis vs. Respiration: Understanding the Biological Relationship

Photosynthesis is the opposite process of respiration. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and glucose. Respiration is the process by which organisms use oxygen to break down glucose and produce carbon dioxide and water.
