Patching: One eye is patched for several hours a day to encourage the weaker eye to work harder and strengthen.
Eye exercises: The child may be given exercises to help improve eye coordination and alignment.
Glasses or prisms: These may be used to correct any underlying refractive errors that may be contributing to the strabismus.
