Acute Confusional State (ACS): Definition, Symptoms & Causes
The term "acute confusional state" or "acute confusional syndrome" refers to an acute condition of confusion, disorientation, disordered thinking and memory, agitation, hallucinations, and other cognitive and behavioral disturbances.
