Mozambique Malaria Deaths: 2020 Statistics & Trends
According to the World Health Organization, approximately 3,972 people died from malaria in Mozambique in 2020. However, it's important to note that this number represents only a fraction of the total burden of malaria in the country, as many cases go undiagnosed or unreported. Additionally, this number reflects a decrease in malaria deaths compared to previous years; for example, there were an estimated 6,259 malaria deaths in 2015. Nonetheless, malaria remains a serious public health challenge in Mozambique, as well as other parts of sub-Saharan Africa, requiring ongoing efforts to prevent and control the disease.Hospice - Related Articles
