For women:

- Hang the bag from the bed or place it on the floor about 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) below the level of the woman's bladder.

For men:

- Hang the bag from the bed or place it on the floor about 18-24 inches (45-60 cm) below the level of the man's bladder.
