When moving through the hallways, medical assistants should walk on the right side of the hallway facing traffic to not block people coming from around cornes or through doorways. Walk single file when in busy hallways or stairwells. This way of walking avoids traffic jams, prevents accidents, and promotes proper etiquette and safety for medical office operations.
