Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) in Toddlers: Symptoms & What to Do
Signs of a UTI in a 3 year old may include:- Frequent urination
- Pain or burning during urination
- Cloudy or foul-smelling urine
- Fever
- Fussiness or irritability
- Loss of appetite
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Back pain
If your 3 year old is showing any of these symptoms, it is important to see your pediatrician for a urine test and possible antibiotic treatment.
