Water Safety: Never Leave Infants or Toddlers Unattended During Bath Time

You should never leave an infant or toddler alone while bathing. Babies and toddlers are top-heavy and can easily fall and drown in just a few inches of water. Even if you are only stepping out of the bathroom for a moment, take your child with you. If you need to leave the bathroom for a longer period of time, ask someone else to watch your child.
