Growth After Puberty: Understanding When Height Development Ends
Humans typically stop growing in height after they have completed puberty. Puberty is the process by which a child's body matures into an adult body, and it usually occurs between the ages of 10 and 14 for girls and 12 and 16 for boys. During puberty, a person's body undergoes a number of changes, including growth in height, weight, and muscle mass. However, once puberty is complete, a person's body typically stops growing. Therefore, if you have already hit puberty and have stopped growing, it is unlikely that you will experience any further growth in height.Teen Health - Related Articles
