Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in children, accounting for about 20% of all childhood brain tumors. It is rare in adults, accounting for less than 1% of all brain tumors in this age group. The peak incidence of medulloblastoma is between the ages of 5 and 9 years, and it is more common in boys than girls.
