Abdominal Pain in Early Pregnancy: Causes & When to Worry
Abdominal pain can be an early sign of pregnancy, but it's not exclusive to pregnancy. There are many other potential causes of tummy aches and many of them are more likely than pregnancy.
Most pregnancy-related tummy pain is mild and goes away on its own. However, some abdominal pain during pregnancy can be a sign of a serious medical problem. So, it is important to see your doctor if you have any abdominal pain during pregnancy.
For example, if you are experiencing severe pain, sudden abdominal pain, pain accompanied by fever or vomiting, or pain that lasts for more than a few days, you should see your doctor right away.
