What does a non pregnant cervix feel like?

A non-pregnant cervix typically feels firm and closed, like the tip of your nose. It may be slightly longer and closer to the back of the vagina than a pregnant cervix. You can usually feel the cervix by inserting a finger into the vagina and feeling for the firm, round opening at the top.
