Home Pregnancy Test Accuracy at 7 Weeks: What to Expect
An HPT (home pregnancy test) is most accurate when taken one week after your missed period. This is because the levels of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in your urine are highest at this time. If you take an HPT too early, you may get a false negative result, even if you are pregnant.
However, if you are 7 weeks pregnant, an HPT should be accurate, as the levels of hCG in your urine will be quite high.
