Pregnancy Test: When to Take It for Accurate Results | [Your Brand/Site Name]
You can take a pregnancy test any time after you think you might be pregnant. However, the best time to take a pregnancy test is the first morning after your missed period. Most pregnancy tests are most accurate 1 week after your missed period and definitive 2-3 weeks after that. If you take the test too early, the levels of pregnancy hormone (hCG) in your urine or blood may not be high enough to be detected by the test and you may get a false-negative result.
If you test negative but still think you may be pregnant, you should wait a few days and take another test.
