Understanding Sociopathy: Emotions, Motivations, and Behavior

It is not true that sociopaths have no emotions. While they may have reduced emotional empathy, sociopaths still experience emotions such as anger, excitement, and pleasure. These emotions can motivate them to engage in certain behaviors, such as lying, cheating, or manipulating others, in order to obtain rewards or achieve desired outcomes. Sociopaths may also be motivated by a need for power, status, or control.
