RSV in Babies: When to Seek Immediate Hospital Care
If you think your baby may have RSV, it's important to call your doctor right away. They can assess your baby's condition and recommend the best course of treatment.
In most cases, babies with RSV can be treated at home. However, some babies may need to be hospitalized if they have:
- Difficulty breathing
- Fast heart rate
- Low blood oxygen levels
- Dehydration
- Seizures
If your baby has any of these symptoms, it's important to take them to the hospital immediately.
