Baby Position at 32 Weeks: Head Down or Breech?
By 32 weeks of pregnancy, most babies are head down, or in a cephalic presentation. This means that the baby's head is pointing towards the birth canal. However, some babies may still be breech, or in a bottom-down position. If your baby is breech at 32 weeks, your doctor may recommend external cephalic version (ECV), a procedure in which the doctor manually turns the baby head down. ECV is successful in about 50% of cases. If ECV is not successful, or if your baby remains breech at 37 weeks, your doctor may recommend a cesarean section (C-section) for delivery.Baby Health - Related Articles
