What are signs of appendix infection?
Signs and symptoms of appendicitis may include:
- Pain: Sudden, sharp pain in the lower right abdomen.
- Loss of appetite.
- Nausea: Feeling sick to your stomach.
- Fever: May develop with an elevated temperature of around 100 to 102 F (37.8 to 38.9 C).
- Vomiting: Often follows nausea.
- Abdominal bloating and swelling or constipation are other symptoms that frequently accompanies an inflamed appendix.
