Cushion Grip Denture Adhesive: Application & Benefits
Cushion Grip denture adhesive is a thick paste that helps ensure that dentures stay in place during use. Cushion Grip denture adhesive forms a strong bond between the dentures and the gums, that acts like a temporary seal. By using a denture adhesive, the user can minimize undesirable contact between food particles and the gums, as well as achieve a more natural look. The instructions for applying Cushion Grip are very straightforward.Things You'll Need
- Denture brush
- Cloth
- Bowl
- Cushion Grip adhesive
Instructions
Fill the bowl with lukewarm water and place the dentures inside. Gently scrub the dentures with the denture brush. Remove the dentures from the water and scrub them with the cloth.
Open the Cushion Grip tube and apply six small droplets to both the upper and lower portions of the denture.
Insert the upper portion of the dentures into your mouth without disturbing the adhesive with your fingers. Press firmly and momentarily close your mouth to distribute the adhesive evenly.
Perform the same procedure to insert the lower portion of the dentures.
Remove any visible adhesive with the cloth by gently dabbing the gums.
