Preserving Baby Teeth: A Guide to Keepsakes
Parents celebrate many milestones as their children develop. Baby's first step, the first word and the first tooth to fall out are among the many benchmarks of a child's growth. Saving baby teeth can make for a keepsake for years to come.Things You'll Need
- Toothbrush
- Towel
- Clear acrylic keepsake box
- Scissors
- Cotton gauze
Instructions
Clean the baby tooth with a toothbrush and plain water to remove any blood or other debris. Dry the tooth with a clean towel.
Open the acrylic keepsake box. A small box for displaying rocks and gems is ideal and can be purchased at a craft store. Cut cotton gauze to fit inside the box.
Place the cotton gauze in the keepsake box and lay the tooth on the gauze. Close the lid tightly to ensure the baby tooth does not fall out and get lost.
