Baby Tooth Loss: Age Guide & What to Expect
The first baby teeth to loosen and fall out are usually the four lower and upper central incisors. This happens between the ages of 6 and 7 years old.
The lateral incisors (one on each side of the central teeth) usually become loose and fall out between the ages of 7 and 8. The canines or the eyeteeth are usually the next teeth to fall out. This usually happens between 9 and 12 years old. The remaining baby teeth usually fall out between the ages of 10 and 12. First molars usually fall out at around age 10, with second molars usually falling out at around age 12.
By the age of 13, most children have lost all their baby teeth and have a full set of permanent teeth.
