How many teeth should a 13 year old have?
By the age of 13, most people have 28 permanent teeth. This includes 14 teeth in the upper jaw and 14 teeth in the lower jaw. The 28 permanent teeth consist of:
4 incisors (front teeth)
4 canines (尖牙/eye teeth)
4 premolars (bicuspids)
6 molars (back teeth)
Some people may still have some of their baby teeth at age 13. This is not unusual and does not necessarily mean that there is a problem. However, if you are concerned about your child's teeth, it is always a good idea to talk to a dentist.
