Trichomoniasis Transmission: Understanding How It's Spread

Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted infection and cannot be contracted if neither partner has engaged in sexual activity outside the relationship. Sharing of infected sex toys or engaging in unprotected sex with an infected partner are the most common ways of contracting trichomoniasis.
