Understanding Flexor Muscles: How They Control Limb Movement

Muscles that bend a limb are known as flexors. They are typically located on the front side of the limb, while the muscles that straighten the limb (extensors) are located on the back side. Flexors and extensors work together in pairs to control the movement of the limbs.
