Can you put ice packs on heads?
Yes, you can use ice packs on heads or the forehead, to reduce symptoms like discomfort due to a nosebleed, eye swelling in case of a black eye, muscle strains in the neck (or a crick in the neck), facial injuries or surgeries or pain associated with migraines or sinusitis
* Place a thin barrier (ie towel) between the skin and ice pack to avoid frostbite
Do not use with the following conditions
* Cold urticaria-skin condition where there’s a swelling or inflammation at site of cold contact
* Raynaud’s syndrome
* Paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria
* Cold or allergy (like sneezing more commonly) triggered migraines which might actually get worse
