Cefadroxil Oral Suspension: 125 and 250 mg/5 mL; 500 mg/10 mL
Children Weighing 30 kg (66 lb) or More
- 500 mg twice daily for 10 days.
Children Weighing Less Than 30 kg (66 lb)
- 30 mg/kg divided twice daily for 10 days.
- (Maximum recommended dose is 1 g/day)
Note: The use of cefadroxil may result in a false-positive reaction for glucose in the urine using Benedict's solution or Fehling's solution. Alternatively, a false-negative reaction may occur with Clinitest® reagent tablets
